The Life of Vinny Chitluri - Sai Baba's Devoted Historian

Dr. Vinny Chitluri is a historian and author who has inspired countless devotees on the path of Sai Worship. For nearly three decades, she researched Baba’s life and history, organised photo exhibitions, authored numerous books and took countless devotees on tours of Shirdi and nearby places, explaining to them every detail of Baba’s life.

At the tender age of six, Vinnyji was fortunate to have met Pujya Narasimha Swamiji. Thereafter, at a very young age she went to Shirdi and was blessed to have the darshan of many Mahabhaktas, including Das Ganu Maharaj, Abdul Baba, Laxmibai Shinde, Sivanesan Swamiji and numerous other descendants.

Vinny Chitluri pursued her medical studies and practised in the US as a pediatrician. Driven by the urge to serve and contribute, she later wound up everything and moved to Shirdi in 1994. Through her selfless dedication and service, the lives of innumerable devotees were impacted.
